i just finished watching the first 9 episodes (because that’s all there is atm) and i have to say it’s.. not as great as the original.

it’s not BAD. in fact, there are a couple of things i like better. like Hisoka’s pornographic voice.

now that i’m on THAT topic, SRSLY. His new voice actor sounds wayyyyy better. there’s no pedo grandpa slur. lawl, iuno how else to describe his old voice.

There was one scene… you remember the one where during the first exam after running the neverending marathon? in the jungle, and hisoka picks a fight with leorio and kurapika and gon helps out by hitting hisoka in the face with his fishing rod?

DOES HISOKA PUNCH GON IN THE FACE? in the original? because i dun remember =S

well, point is, he doesn’t in the new one. Instead he grabs gon by the throat and frigging whispers to him in the most pornographic voice i have ever heard in mai life *__*

You guys remember how in year 7, MLC kinda threatened us to do 2 semesters of sport?

well, i put it off till term 3 because weekend sport seriously sucks majorahem.. and ended up doing netball. in team 24 or whichever was the lowest level team (WITH YOU GINA, but i didn’t know you back then, so i was basically on my lonesome) XDD

There was one week.. after a game with i-forget-which-school. Our coach.. which i also have forgotten the name of XDD she was driving me home. except driving me home turned into driving me to strathfield station… which turned into driving me to NEAR strathfield station.

We got lost okay? D: not my fault my map reading and directional skills are appalling.

We somehow drove to Homebush station, and i figured that i was being a huge nuisance because coach really didn’t have to drive me anywhere. She was nice enough to take meh to a station, so i told her Homebush station would be fine.

I’m kinda off track now because most of this is irrelevant XDDD

The important bit comes in when i’m on the train. And it stops at Lidcombe.

I should probably also note that i’m wearing my MLC sports uniform. complete with insanely-short-skort.

Mine was REALLY short. i think it’s cuz i hit puberty somewhere between the end of year 6-when i bought the size XS skort with my mum, and term 3-when it no longer fit on my hips anymore and instead had to wear it higher up around my waist.

Okay, so i’m at Lidcombe and the train is for the most part empty. because it’s an all stops -__-,

There is literally one other person sitting with me (in the upstairs part of the train.. because i used to always sit upstairs >__<).

But another guy walks up, and takes a seat directly behind me. He’s this middle-aged.. middle eastern/indian guy with a turban. not sure which ethnicity exactly. but he had a realleh gross curly beard T_T

For convenience:

GUY#1 is the guy who was already on the train with me

GUY#2 is the one that just got on the train

Not even a minute after the train leaves the station, GUY#1 yells: “hey, stop looking at her legs”

and i got off that train because when a 12-year-old hears that a potential terrorist-pedophile is looking at her legs, it’s creepy T_T

i can’t believe i just wrote a few hundred words just to say: i was wearing a short skirt when i was twelve and a creepy old man sat behind me to look at my legs before bystander interrupted his little fantasy -__-,

i need to cut back on writing needless backstories.

last week my the back of my mouth (back tooth-ish sort of area) started aching.. and i get that every couple of months so i wrote it off as an ulcer.

but nooooo. it kept on hurting. it hurt all the way through my math exam, and the rest of the week.

this morning it was throbbing so badly, i went to see the dodgy dentist across the street from mai mum’s office. i mean, it’s kind of behind a butchery >__>;;

and it was run by a middle-eastern/indian/ukrainian(or german or.. lithuanian.. or iuno what sort, but some kind of european) trio. and iuno.. it’s always awkward (at least it is for me) when you see a doctor or optometrist or DENTIST that is going to look inside your mouth and isn’t the same race as you..?

anyway, trip was worth it because i am in significantly less pain. even if i’m $80 poorer, and it hurt like hell when she had the tube sticking into my mouth, and i bled all over the sink when i was rinsing.

on level 4, i come out of the fire escape and i head toward the lifts (because again, IN MY MIND cyclops is lookin’ fer me upstairs somewhere).

STORY#1:

I’ve told this story at least 3 times to diff people, so nothing new if you’ve already heard it. but i have received requests to blog this (not REALLY, but it was a pretty momentous occasion, so it kinda deserves a post anyway. PLUS I LIKE TELLING STORIES )

It was LAST wednesday morning in the new mac library (this post is VERY late XDD). chrystal needed to use a colour printer, but the thing with new libraries is that they have new printers that are too hi-tech fer their own good.

…or our good.

On this particular day, chrystal and i also happened to be drinking chai-lattes BECAUSE THEY TASTE LIKE CHRISTMAS and yes this is important so dun interrupt meh D:

there was a table next to the giant printer. OBVIOUSLY, our chai-lattes were set on the table. along with my phone, headphones, and most likely a couple of other things. POINT IS: i had heaps of my stuff on that table.

At this point, an international student (irrelevant, but specifics are usually good right? XD) lines up behind us to use the printer.

Because neither of us have successfully figured out how to colour print, we decide to let him use the printer first.

While he is printing, i decide that it’s wayy too hot in the library, so off my coat comes, and into my bag it goes.. but of course it doesn’t happen this easily -__-,

i have to fold it and cram it into my bag which is not an easy feat because IT’S A COAT DAMMIT D:

so as you can see, i was very occupied. on the floor. not looking at chrystal.

“hey, is this yours?” chrystal asks.

FIRST THING that comes into my head is the stuff that’s on the table. OF COURSE IT’S MINE CHRYSTAL. *wants to thwack her*

so i reply with: “yuh”

we mutually give up on trying to work the stupid big printer and go back downstairs. Halfway down, chrystal passes me her- WAIT CORRECTION: a water bottle.

Being the super nice, considerate, gracious, patient, thoughtful person i am, i see that she is having difficulty carrying her bag, laptop and water bottle simultaneously.. so i take the bottle from her.

it’s one of those hard-plastic bottles. where the lid has a ring/handle thing so you can hold onto it easily.

i grab it by the ring and i carry it for some length of time before i decide that i’ve held onto it long enough.

… so i pass it back to her. i mean, IT’S HER BOTTLE, RIGHT?

“why is your water hot?” i hear chrystal ask.

what the heck is the idiot talking about now? DUH, mai chai-latte is hot? we just bought it?

i dun reply because, obviously, someone is confused.

Once we reach the ground floor, chrystal goes on the hunt for a printer that’s actually.. workable. they were in a “no-food-or-drink” section of the library, so we had to leave chai’s outside.

I decide to sit and watch our stuff while chrystal goes in to print.

Now, chrystal puts the water bottle in a srsly inconvenient position on the table, effectively taking up ALL THE SPACE. of course, i grab it to move it aside.

when i say i grab it, i mean my palm makes contact with the bottle, and my fingers go around it.

IT’S HOT.

somewhere around here, i crack up laughing (internally, because i’d look like a maniac if i were laughing out loud by myself in a library).

CHRYSTAL TOTALLY JUST STOLE SOME GUY’S BOTTLE XDDDDDD

okay so, he starts the test.. and he is FAST. he also has friends hanging around in the comp lab, so he gets two of them to help out as well.

… and the three of them are scribbling away, and i felt sort of bad for the guy who got stuck with the jerkface-question that was wayy too hard without maple.

but he did it anyway because physics guy said he would punch his vagina or smth along those lines XDD

In the end, there were 15minutes still remaining on the clock.. so the three of them sort of joined forces to ensure there were no mistakes in that super-ugleh question.

There were like 5 mistakes XD

which they managed to weed out amidst arguing about how physics guy has appalling handwriting XDDDDD (admittedly his handwriting IS hard to read)–> actually got the right answer in the end!

i still can’t get over how fast they did all the questions omg @__@

so yuh.

i thanked them and went home T__T

but i didn’t thank them PROPERLY. i didn’t even say bye properly T__T

we (of course) begin in physics lab where he turns up fashionably late (not actually that late. around 2 minutes) in his nice, tight coat and scarf.

I actually missed the part where he starts to strip takes his coat and scarf off.. cuz i was busy filling this aluminum can with water and weighing it *grumbles about stupid cans of water ruining what potentially would have been an awesome show*

but lab is going super well (or super well in my head anyway) because he’s stirring water in a can, and he looks awesome when stirring water in a can..

..not that i was watching. *coughs*

and since he didn’t do two of the questions that i* did at home (*THANK YOU SO SO MUCH KATE. I OWE YOU BIG TIME XD), i offered to stir the can (because apparently stirring cans for 10 mins straight is normal in physics labs)

so i’m stirring now (more like jabbing), AND HE TALKS TO ME.

the experiment we were doing was really.. move-y.. and.. fidgety, and as a result, we kept switching sides of the bench.

this was good because he smells reallyreally nice.

iuno if it’s cologne or deodorant.. or perfume? w/e, not important.

point is it smelt really good but i only get a whiff of it if he switches sides with me.

which kind of failed because i was the one moving around a lot (weighing cans of ice and water XD).

this is because he’s super nice and does all the work that actually requires thinking, and doesn’t ask rhetorical questions that pressure ME into doing the work like all my other ex lab partners (excluding awesome partner1 and awesome partner2 who are in stream B) T_T

and i STILL somehow mess up the easy bit?!

how hard is it to memorise three numbersssssss!?

(admittedly they were long numbers like 184.3, 34.6, and 157.2) but whyyyyy? T_____T

i race back to our bench and blurt out the three numbers.. followed by “you might wanna write that down because my memory isn’t gunna hold out much longer” (and you’re not helping my brain either by standing there looking all hawt and stuff).

In the end it all worked out, and we got our first 10/10 (even if we did get some help )

and of course on our walk to our calc classes, he HAS to say “it’s cold out here, huh?”

so we were playing mahjong or poker or monopoly (iun remember which).. while watching tv. Turns out they show Vampire Knight (yuh, the anime) on ABC3.

some background info for people who don’t know what Vampire Knight is about:

- vampires. obviously.

- something about day school and night school. iuno if that’s some sort of pun with “Knight” but w/e. not important XD

- main character is this girl who is realleh realleh reallehREALLEHLAEJRLEA annoying.

- her favourite line is: there is something very wrong with me, kaname. i am not kidding. she says this three times in the span of 2 episodes.

- from what i gathered in the bits of episode i watched, she has some sort of amnesia.. the type that makes you forget that you’re a vampire EVEN THOUGH you’re living with like a bajillion of them -__-,

- she has an adoptive brother named zero.

- she has a REAL BROTHER named kaname.

- they are both in love with her.

- and vice versa. i think. (if you ask me, she ALMOST slept wif her real bro, so mayhap she likes him some more)

- she follows up with there is something very wrong with me. i’m in love with my brother.

so i grabbed all the equipment.. and started on my own.

.. and ended up doing the entire experiment by myself. but that was okay cuz it was a relatively easy experiment this week X)

at one point in the experiment, i had to unscrew this magnetic-thing from the end of a ramp. it’s like.. opening a bottle of juice sideways.

so i asked an unlucky lab demonstrator who happened to be passing by..

it was realleh awkward cuz the three of us spent like 5 mins trying to unscrew this thing.

Gintama 2011 was released!!

Found out that a new 13-episode yaoi anime is in the works. ep 1 premieres TODAY.. which is actually tomorrow in japan.. but TODAY!

AND got a cute physics partner that isn’t half bad at physics XD

also got mai calc test back on the same day.

so i watched episode 1, and i was reeaaally trying to keep my expectations low so i wouldn’t be disappointed because I KNOW how many sequels are screwed up.

the first half of it was just.. average. just regular old gintama, and i was happy with that. oh what the hell, i was ecstatic anyway cuz i love the show so so much T_T.

but Daaaannnng (yes, i am using this pun chrystal because i am in such a good mood XD) was the second half FUNNEH. haven’t laughed so much in a while, and it felt awesome. When in a rut, Gintama is the best cure

now, yaoi anime. i watched the prequel (which is separate to the 13-ep series) on tuesday.. so yuh. just some clarification if you were wondering wai this was relevent to the “awesome tuesday” thing XD now yah know.

The art is pretty. that made me happy. The first three quarters were excruciatingly sappy. I choked, and chortled to myself through all the crying, the awkward confessions, the fact that the main character was super girly and lame, the cherry blossoms floating through the library, and the sentimental piano in the background music.

oh, and the billowing curtains. how could i have forgotten?

I JUDGED TOO SOON. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED.

i especially loved it when he woke up (yes, it was a dream XD) in a pile of shit (not literally), in front of his boss (who is the love interest from his lame-ass dream which is actually a flashback of when they dated and broke up 10 years ago). AT WORK. I could SEE the “FML” on his face

okay, my physics partner XD. Met him in lab (i mean, where else?), and even though we didn’t get full marks, it was still pretty awesome working with him. why?

no.1 = he doesn’t touch me unnecessarily, AND he offered to pick up the equipment when i was about to go get it myself.

no.2 = we didn’t get 5/10

no.3 = he’s nawt that hard to talk to. plus he talked about stuff other than physics.

no.4 = he is not that tall. iuno. Tall people intimidate me for some reason *sheepish* doesn’t matter male or female. just.. dun be too tall XD

turns out he’s also in my algebra tute (which i found out on thursday). i had a test that day. Afterwards, i was stressing the shit out due to my epic epiphany when the tutor mentioned ROOTS, because i left FIVE roots in my final answer on a FIND THE FOURTH ROOTS question T_T.

so there i was in deep contemplation, when i hear HEY CLAIRE! i snap my head up and there is cute-physics-partner in all his cuteness.

you see, i burned a majority of my brain cells during that test, and the rest of them burned when i was trying to remember how many roots i had left, and whether or not tutor would notice them. My brain was FRIED. DEEP FRIED.
